Stealing is a carry, not a teleport. You only move a fish into your collection after you haul it across your own base line.
When you can take a fish
- Watch a house whose blue force field has dropped. The free shield is 60 seconds before rebirth bonuses.
- Walk in. The Invisible Cape pass, listed at 799 Robux, hides you while you do this. It does not open a shield that is still up.
- Press E on a fish that does not have the Unstealable mutation and is not inside the Fish Vault.
- Carry it home. The fish slows you down, so the owner can catch you.
- Cross your own base boundary so the fish takes an empty pad and starts paying you.
What stops the carry
- A live force field blocks the doorway.
- Unstealable fish cannot be picked up. That mutation is listed at a 7.5 percent river roll. Guides also say some group or Robux copies are born unstealable. A Robux Evil Bloop is described as unstealable, while a non-Robux Evil Bloop can be stolen.
- Vault fish are not on the raid floor.
- Slaps and guns knock the carrier back and drop the fish before delivery. The owner does not have to reach their pad. They only have to break the carry.
Choosing a target
Take a rebirth ingredient you still need, or a flat earner stronger than your current best. A percent fish is worth less if you do not already own a strong flat anchor. Leave common filler unless you are on Rebirth 1 or 2 and that species is the recipe.
If the shield returns while you are inside, finish or drop the carry. Standing in a shielded house is not a documented way to phase the fish out.
