Your house starts open. The shield button is at the back of the base. Press it to raise a blue barrier. The free duration is 60 seconds, and you must press it again after the cooldown. Rebirths add 10 or 30 seconds depending on the level. A 24-hour shield is sold for Robux. The price is not consistent in public notes, so read the button.

Unlock and shop price are different steps. A rebirth can put the tool on sale. You still pay the cash price if the shop lists one.
Layers that do not depend on timing
- Unstealable fish stay even if you forget the shield.
- The Intrusion Alarm pass, listed at 149 Robux, warns you when someone enters.
- The Fish Vault holds fish that cannot be carried, and they earn nothing while stored.
- x2 Speed, listed at 199 Robux, helps you catch a carrier. It does not replace the shield.
While you are offline the shield expires. Offline cash is only as safe as Unstealable fish and the vault. Anything else can be gone when you return, and the offline timer itself is capped.
